Our long-standing chairperson, Kirsteen Graham, has recently stepped down from the role after nearly 30 years at the helm. Fèis an Earraich offers heartfelt thanks for her many years of dedication and wish her many happy, stress-free Easter holidays from now on!

In the hot seat now we welcome Eilidh MacKenzie, a participant at the very first Fèis an Earraich in Plockton and nowadays tutor of clàrsach and piano. Gur math a thèid leibh, a leadaidhean!

In other news, two of our fèis tutors were successful at this year’s MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards in Aberdeen. ‘Tutor of the Year’ went to our piping tutor Ian Ruari Finlayson, and fiddler Fiona MacAskill, with her band Kinnaris Quintet, took home a prestigious Belhaven Bursary for Innovation in Scottish Music. Mealaibh ur naidheachd!
