Fèis an Earraich – P4 to S6
Bidh Fèis an Earraich a’ tachairt a h-uile bliadhna ann an sgìre an Eilein Sgitheanaich agus Loch Aillse, a’ toirt cothroim do dh’oigridh páirt a ghabhail anns na h-ealain Gàidhlig. Am-bliadhna bidh sinn gu bhith ann am Port Righ leis an 30mh Fèis làn chiùil, drama, spòrs agus fealla-dha, agus tha sinn an dòchas gun gabh sibh an cothrom a bhith còmhla rinn tro sheachdain na Fèise.
Fèis an Earraich has taken place in different venues over the years, including Plockton, Kyleakin and Sleat. This year we will be in Portree High School, from Monday 3rd April to Friday 7th April 2023 for the 33rd Fèis an Earraich. We welcome children and teenagers from Skye and Lochalsh (and beyond!), from P4-S6. Participants will attend on a daily basis, with our team of supervisors.
Please note that children in P4 who are not currently learning a musical instrument are encouraged to attend Fèis Bheag an Earraich.

The aim of the week is to offer young people an enjoyable opportunity to receive intensive tuition in a range of subjects or instruments related to traditional music, Gaelic language and culture.
As well as the daily classes, there will be a full programme of evening activities including games, sports and a céilidh dance.
Applications are welcome from children and young people from P5 to S6 High School. P4 children would be welcome to participate in the Fèis if they are already taking music lessons and have referral from a teacher/tutor.
Fèis an Earraich is open to all and participants do not require to be Gaelic speakers. Most classes will be available through the medium of Gaelic, for GM pupils, and the use of Gaelic throughout the Fèis will be warmly encouraged.
Fee: £100 for non-residential
